John Allan is Tree of Us
Originally from Northern NSW John Allan has traversed many genres of music from music hall comedy, to productions "West Side Story", "Man of La Mancha", then to a principal with Australian Opera Company finally back to his beloved country and rock n roll music.
As a respected singer,song writer and recording artist, John has played venues throughout NSW, The NT and Queensland. John can cover all aspects of music and caters for all ages but 'specially for the over 35's with Orbison, Neil Diamond, country rock and music to get you up and going.
In 2000 he moved to the NT and he formed the group "Tree of Us" which become the resident group at Sky City Casino for 4.5 years, and also played at many corporate functions, including those at Government House & Parliament House Darwin.
Since releasing the album "New Old Songs" in 2008 John has been working throughout NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. Now residing in North East Tasmania John has started to spread his talent throughout the area. With functions coming up and radio airplay of his single releases and being involved in country music again John is busy.
John will be part of the Tasmanian production of Les Miserables, 2010. This is a part of John's career he has let slide whilst helping other young artists achieve their goals. Now its is John's time and the future is looking great.
